By far the nicest western-style restaurant and menu I've seen in Tashkent.
This young, fresh hipster cafe is a great new restaurant in Tashkent, with a great atmosphere, a unique modern menu and best of all WIFI.

After the internet in my apartment crashed all afternoon, I decided to check out Socials. The restaurant itself is really big with different levels and an outdoor space, I decided to sit indoors as it was +35 degrees outside! Inside is beautifully decorated and has plenty of cozy areas to sit and lots of plugs for computers (as many places in Tashkent don't offer WIFI this was a real plus!)

The staff were friendly and all seemed to speak good English. The menus are also in English and have a great selection of breakfast, lunch and main courses. As well as a great drinks menu and sweet desserts.
A great restaurant that could be found in any international city anywhere in the world! A great environment for a coffee and some lunch.

To start I ordered peach & raspberry ice tea, which was full of fresh raspberries and was super refreshing after a day in the heat. The service was very fast and efficient!

After trying to choose just one dish from their menu, I went for the Chicken Mojito Tacos, which again came quickly. The tacos consisted of mojito marinated chicken, which was pretty minty, melted cheddar cheese, a mix of fresh shredded red and white cabbage, radish, cilantro, a tomato salsa and a Parmesan lime dressing. The tacos were really tasty and fresh, and not too heavy like tacos can sometimes be.

Unfortunately after the tacos, I was too full for dessert, however from what I saw at other tables, the desserts at Socials look unbelievable delicious!

With a really great relaxed atmosphere, a wide range of dishes and desserts that look to good to eat, Socials, for us was a great find!! It's a great location for work lunches, a causal coffee or a nice dinner for 2. The prices are a little higher than some other cafes in Tashkent, but for the quality of food and great environment its definitely worth it. Be sure to check it out.
